The "Carrer de sa Lluna" (Moon road) took its name fron the "Casa de sa Lluna" (Moon house), one of the oldest houses in Sóller, The road follows the course of a moorish water channel, and therefore is somewhat sinuous.
Nowadays the "carrer" is Sóller' pedestrianised shopping centre, and boasts a good selection of small shops that provide for all the necessities of the local people, as well as for visitors.
