In all cosmopolitan towns and cities there are second hand shops, as a well established tradition they have become an integral part of the towns image.

One can find what one looks for, be it fashion articles or others. Their independence from trends sets them apart from other establishments. Behind the idea that in a second hand shop one may find used objects, lies a philosophy: The buying and selling of articles of value and rarities that have been well kept, at a reasonable price. There are people who, for one reason or another, buy expensive clothing to be worn but once or twice, then to be left in the cupboard, forgotten until one fine day one asks, 'What can I do with all this expensive clothing'? The same thing happens with objects of decoration, presents from friends, expensive, but inadequate for ones personal taste or style. What can one do with the objects that one values, but for lack of space, cannot keep at home. In theory one can find these clothes and object in markets and jumble sales, but one would have to really know how to chose well.

Our aim in creating our business was precisely that of being able to give our customers the chance to find this merchandise, designer clothing, that new would be too expensive, prohibitively so. Other objects that, due to there rarity, are almost impossible to find other than in a second hand shop.

The majority of a second hand shop's client have a very personal sense of style, but are not greatly influenced by the latest fashion. Creative people love to find this type of establishment because of it's personal and original style. They appreciate the oportunity to to buy clothing of high value in clean and cared for surroundings. Enter and browse in a shop of this type always brings surprises, always is exciting. One is never bored here. Also: Recycling goods made great sense.

In and around Sóller live a large number of people who have come from all over the world, and helped give the valley it's cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is this atmosphere that led to our idea of opening a second hand boutique here: 'La Bohême' at Calle Bauza, 11, Sóller.

Our offering covers quality used clothing for women and men of all ages. One can dress oneself from head to toe, and enjoy having found a bargain. One can also find presents, jewelry, art and artifacts etc...
