Right beside Soller's station is the Hotel 'El Guia', an old-fashioned hotel with a very friendly, family atmosphere. The hotel was first opened in 1880, and, despite having had modern comfort such as central heating and hot water installed, still retains it's old charm.
Entering through the courtyard with it's old well and countless flower pots, one comes into the entrada which serves as a sitting room for the guests, and boasts a large fireplace and period furniture. Beside the entrada is the marvellous dining room, a great favourite with local people due to it's excellently cooked variety of local produce, at very reasonable prices, served with early 20th century style in it's orginal modernist surroundings.
The rooms are simply, but tastefully decorated in the same, modernist style as the rest of the hotel, and have central heating and air conditioning, many of the rooms have excellent mountain views.
